Exploring the world – one adventure at a time
At Maryam’s, we believe that being outdoors is vital to a child’s wellbeing and development, teaching them healthy habits early on. We take our nursery’s outdoor activities very seriously and make sure our kids spend a good part of their day interacting with nature.
Outside there is the freedom to explore, use all five senses, and be physically active. The children have the support of attentive and engaged adults who are enthusiastic about the outdoors and understand the importance of outdoor learning.
Where our children play
From the library to the nearby fire station, local shops and the river Thames, there is plenty to explore in the Tower Bridge area. We love visiting the local surroundings together because it teaches children how to be and feel a part of the community they are growing up in, part of a child’s sense of connection and belonging.
We also actively encourage them to learn about the environment and where our food comes from by teaching them about indoor and outdoor gardening.

Fun-filled day trips
What’s more, we organise exciting monthly day trips to visit sights such as museums, theatres, the seaside or zoos. We arrange a minibus for these outings and take your little ones out in small groups. We also encourage you to attend some of our outings so that you can get to know and experience the Maryam’s family.
